Fish Mox Forte (Amoxicillin Trihydrate) from Thomas Labs is a broad spectrum fish antibiotic used in the treatment of bacterial infections associated with marine and freshwater ornamental fish diseases. Fish Mox Forte is effective against a number of pathogenic bacterial conditions associated with marine and freshwater ornamental fish diseases such as for infected eyes, pop-eye, fin or tail rot, skin ulcerations, columnaris disease, and gill disease.

Uses: Fish Mox Forte is effective in the treatment of common bacterial fish diseases including Dropsy, Fin Rot, Red Pest, Aeromonas and Pseudomonas genera and Mycobacterial Group (gill diseases, condrococcus)

Dosage & Administration: Add contents of one capsule (500mg) into aquarium for each 20 gallons of water to be treated. Repeat in 24 hours. It is suggested that a partial water change be made between treatments. While treatment duration depends on type and severity of the infection, it is recommended that extended medication baths continue for a minimum of 5 days and not more than 10 days. Discontinue treatment with this medication if no improvement is noted within 5 days. To remove harmless yellow color, change 20% of water and use charcoal filter until clear.
